As time progresses, Naruto has moved bit by bit into the unlikeable side of things. Having someone like Sai around isn't doing him any favours here either. Naruto is emotional and impulsive. He has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Sai is the exact polar opposite of Naruto. And the cold, logical deduction of Sai makes Naruto look even more childish that what he usually does.

This was going to be a failed meeting from the start because the three Akatsuki members (black Zetzu, Obito and Deidara) already knew that Sasori was dead. They (black Zetzu and Obito) came back after Sakura and Lady Chiyo had fought Sasori and found his "body". I'm sure Orochimaru already found out and knew about it before Team Kakashi got there...
